TTF Gas Price Today
The live Dutch TTF price - Europe's benchmark for wholesale natural gas - updated through the trading day, with the context that moves it.
The TTF - the Title Transfer Facility - is the virtual trading point for natural gas in the Netherlands, and the price traded there is the benchmark for wholesale gas across Europe. Most European gas supply contracts, and a large share of power and industrial contracts, are priced off it. TTF is quoted in euros per megawatt-hour (€/MWh) of gas energy, and the front-month contract is the figure most traders watch.
The price is a real-time balance of supply and demand. On the supply side: pipeline flows from Norway, LNG cargoes arriving at European import terminals, and how full the continent’s gas storage is heading into or out of winter. On the demand side: weather-driven heating, and gas burned to generate power when wind and solar fall short. A cold snap, an unplanned outage on a major pipeline, or an LNG cargo diverted to Asia can each move the front-month price several percent in a single day.
Rivex tracks the live TTF spot price through the trading day, alongside EEX day-ahead settlements and the forward curve, so you can see both where the market is now and where it expects to be.
